How about Middleware?

Big Con:

- Who is going to provide this? It'll just be another vendor

- Similar problems will exist

Better solution: Open Standard APIs

BIG POINT: We're the thought-leaders for technology decisions in the progressive community.

Is the problem vendors? They have the know-how, they just need the will.

Answer: No, the problem is money. We need to go to big donors like the Democracy Alliance.

Possible Solution: A 'middle-ware' solution developed by a 501c(3) funded by big donors. The c3 would be responsible for working (and paying) individual vendors to plug into the middle-ware.
