What is RootsCamp all about?

RootsCamp is for anyone who will play a role in the 2008 legislative session and/or elections in the Rocky Mountain Region. It's a self-organizing conference (an "unconference", if you will) -- a place to engage with exceptional people from all levels and all sectors of the progressive movement from throughout the Rocky Mountain Region with an eye towards doing things even better in 2008 and beyond. Come prepared to share observations, innovations, successes, failures, old wisdom, and new discoveries. Please also invite other exceptional folks you may have worked with -- from citizen activists, to precinct organizers, to volunteers, to leaders of progressive organizations, to campaign and legislative professionals.

Take note that this year the format for Day II will be slightly different. Day II will consist of intensive breakout training sessions, including a "Blogger Boot Camp", a "YouTube training", and a "ThinkPrecinct training".
